Ladies with the Master Ministries
Susan Heck
Susan Heck has been involved in women's ministries for more than 20 years. Her background includes teaching Bible studies, counseling, and the leadership of Ladies with the Master, the women's ministry of Grace Community Church. Susan is a certified counselor with the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors.
Susan is married to Doug Heck, Senior Pastor of Grace Community Church. She and Doug have two children and seven grandchildren. Both children and their spouses are serving in full-time ministry.
Recommendations from the many enthusiastic individuals who have attended her Bible studies have generated numerous invitations for Susan to speak to women's groups on how to launch a women's ministry in their own churches.
Susan's recently published books, With the Master In the School of Tested Faith, and With the Master On Our Knees, are women's bible studies that include challenging questions to stimulate discussion in small groups.
Susan's teaching ministry is an outgrowth of her personal knowledge of the Bible. She has memorized 23 books of the New Testament, word for word; The Gospels of Matthew and John, Romans, II Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, I and II Thessalonians, I and II Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews, James, I and II Peter, I, II and III John, Jude and Revelation. She has also memorized the book of Jonah from the Old Testament, as well as other portions of Scripture.
